Last updated May 12, 2026

This policy describes what information Rocket HQ collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. By using the Services you consent to the practices described here.

01Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information: Account information (Discord user ID, Discord username, Discord email address, Discord avatar, subscription tier); Payment information (credit/debit card details, billing address — processed and stored by our payment processor, Stripe, and not stored on our servers); Transaction information (Rocket Coin purchases, Rocket Coin redemptions, subscription plan, payment amounts, billing dates, referral or discount codes used); Rocket Coin data (account balance, transaction history, redemption records); Communication data (customer support inquiries, emails, and any information you voluntarily provide); Device and usage information (IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, time spent on pages, click data); and Cookies and similar technologies (session identifiers, preferences, analytics data).

02How we collect information

We collect information: from Discord when you sign in using your Discord account (we receive your Discord user ID, username, email address, and avatar through Discord's OAuth2 authentication); from our payment processor (Stripe) when you purchase Rocket Coins; automatically through your use of our website via cookies, log files, and similar technologies; and directly from you when you contact us for support.

03How we use your information

We use your information to: authenticate your identity via Discord and maintain your account; process Rocket Coin purchases and manage your coin balance; manage your subscription plan and apply tier-based discounts; process service redemptions and maintain your order history; provide and maintain your access to subscription features and Discord channels; send transactional communications (purchase confirmations, subscription updates, redemption confirmations, cancellation notices); detect and prevent fraud, unauthorized access, abuse, and manipulation of the Rocket Coin system; enforce our Terms of Service and protect the integrity of our community; improve and optimize our website and Services; respond to your inquiries and provide customer support; and comply with applicable legal obligations.

04How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with: Payment processors (Stripe) to process Rocket Coin purchases — Stripe only receives information related to coin purchases and does not receive information about how Rocket Coins are redeemed or spent within our platform; Hosting and infrastructure providers to operate our website; Discord to authenticate your account and manage your community access and tier-based channel permissions; Professional advisors (legal, accounting) as necessary for business operations; Law enforcement or government authorities when required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights; and in connection with a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

05Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyze how our website is used. Essential cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be disabled. Analytics cookies help us understand usage patterns. You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect your ability to use some features of the Services.

06Data retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. Rocket Coin transaction records (purchases, redemptions, subscription deductions) are retained for the lifetime of your account and for a minimum of three (3) years after account closure. After account cancellation or termination, we may retain certain information as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and for legitimate business purposes (such as maintaining records of transactions for tax and accounting purposes).

07Data security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information. Payment information is processed and stored by Stripe in accordance with PCI-DSS standards and is never stored on our servers. Rocket Coin balances and transaction records are stored securely in our database. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

08Your rights and choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including: the right to access personal information we hold about you; the right to request correction of inaccurate information; the right to request deletion of your personal information (subject to certain exceptions, including the retention of transaction records required for legal and accounting purposes); and the right to opt out of promotional communications. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe. We may need to verify your identity through your Discord account before processing your request.

09EU data subject rights (GDPR)

If you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including: the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data; the right to restrict or object to processing; the right to data portability; and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Our legal basis for processing your data includes: performance of contract (providing our Services), legitimate interest (fraud prevention, service improvement), consent (where explicitly given, such as the right of withdrawal waiver at checkout), and legal obligation (transaction record keeping). To exercise your GDPR rights, contact us at [email protected].

10California privacy rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, the right to request deletion of your personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA. To exercise your California privacy rights, contact us at [email protected].

11Children's privacy

The Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a minor, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected].

13Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
